Mike Silva
Hearing Care Practitioner
Mike Silva, a former professional musician, also had a career in the computer industry. He joined the Beltone Family in 2003 as one of Beltone Houston’s first Patient Care Coordinators. Mike is bilingual (English & Spanish) which has enabled him to develop relationships and assist a broader range of patients within the Beltone Network. He also is a hearing aid wearer himself, which gives him personal insight as to the life-changing benefits these devices provide. With Mike’s background in computer technology, he was instrumental in beta-testing and transitioning Beltone into the age of computerized scheduling and accounting. Mike took his knowledge and experience with acoustics, musical equipment, and computer technology and applied that to his new field, Hearing Instrument Sciences. Today, Mike holds a Texas state license as a Fitter and Dispenser of Hearing Instruments, and serves as clinic director for our Heights Area practice. in 2008, he entered into Beltone's Master Practitioner league.
