    Laurie brings years of experience to each individualized appointment with her patients. She has the experience, expertise, and education to benefit each patient she works with.     Laurie is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in the State of Pennsylvania, a member of the International Hearing Society and the Pennsylvania Hearing Healthcare Association. She has an Associate of Applied Science and a Bachelors of Science; both with High Honors. She is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has had extensive training in Live Speech Mapping, Real Ear Measurement, deep canal impressions, and is proficient with all audiometric equipment. Laurie enjoys being part of “Helping the world hear better,” for Laurie, this is not a job – she truly enjoys making every patient a part of her family.

    Hearing Care Trainee

    Etor is a recent graduate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology. Her vision is to help individuals overcome communication barriers. She developed a passion for assisting individuals from the hearing and deaf community as she grew up with a friend who was deaf. The experience invigorated her to learn sign language and eventually to major in this field.

    She desired to apply her knowledge and follow her passion in order to create a professional career. In her time during her undergraduate studies, she received many awards such as Student of the Year, Building Bridges program, and K. Leroy Irvis Undergraduate Award. She founded and created the American Sign Language club, was a member of the honor society, Sigma Alpha Pi and is an active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity where she held positions on the Inter- Greek council, as well as serving on the executive board for her fraternity. Etor has years of experience in merchandising, financial literacy, and leadership positions.

She aspires to help others to be able to participate in conversations with their family and friends in order to feel confident with their ability to hear again. She believes in the company’s principles, “At Beltone we believe everybody has a right to good hearing”, and looks forward to taking care of all of her patients, considering each one as part of her family.
