The Beltone New City, NY Team

  • Thomas F Biondi *BC-HIS, LHAS

Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser New York

Thomas is a Brooklyn born native who grew up in Farmingville Long Island and studied at the University of Central Florida in Orlando for Electrical Engineering and the University of South Florida in Tampa for Business Administration. After several years of electrical engineering Thomas was visiting his brother in Buffalo NY where he received his first exposure to the field of Audiology at his brother’s hearing aid center to get help diagnosing the frustrations of his own hearing impairment. Witnessing firsthand the rewarding field of Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing by observing his brother help others with their hearing health care needs Thomas decided to switch gears and became credentialed by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and Licensed to dispense Hearing Aids on June 22, 1994.

Since then Thomas has been a Board-Certified Licensed Hearing Health Care provider for over 25 years and an active member with the American Auditory Society, International Hearing Society as well as the Hearing Health Care Alliance New York since 1994 where he has successfully fitted over 9,523 hearing aids to date in his career as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. As a hearing-impaired person himself wearing 2 Beltone Amaze hearing instruments coupled with his Electrical Engineering background Thomas brings an unsurpassed level knowledge, expertise, understanding and compassion to his patients and is an asset to the Beltone family of hearing health care providers.

  • Geanine Galloway

    Patient Care Coordinator

Geanine Galloway has been with the Beltone family for 10 years. After starting in 2009, she took a leave to start her family and returned to the company at the beginning of 2019. During her time away she always felt she would return, as the standard of care that Beltone prides itself on giving its patients and the work atmosphere that standard creates is hard to come by. Geanine loves helping people and is always willing to learn about ways she can help the patients with any troubles they are having with their hearing aids when the consultant may be busy or unavailable. Watching patients who previously struggled to hear family members leave with a smile is one of her favorite parts about her job. Geanine currently lives in the Hudson valley with her husband Brian, their son Braeden and their chocolate lab, Odin.
