Reviews of Beltone Liverpool

The Beltone Liverpool, NY Team

  • Craig Chorney, MS, CCC-A

    Audiologist

Mr. Chorney sees patients at our Liverpool and Fayetteville, New York offices. He has been in the hearing care profession for more than 35 years, joining Beltone in 2012. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from SUNY Brockport and his Master’s Degree in Audiology from Penn State University. He also earned his Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He is a current member of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Mr. Chorney became an Audiologist because he enjoys combining technology and counseling skills to help others hear better and get more out of life. He was attracted to Beltone because, while working in various dispensing practices, he noticed that Beltone instruments were usually in good working condition after years of use. Beltone durability and reliability has always impressed him.

In his downtime, Mr. Chorney loves to fish through central New York. He is also in a barbershop quartet, performing at various private and public events throughout the year. His barbershop quartet also participates in competitions twice a year.

Mr. Chorney’s patients appreciate that he takes the time to learn about their lifestyle and communication needs. He then explains, in easy-to-understand detail, why his recommended instruments, features and adjustments will best suit that patient’s lifestyle and communication expectations.

  • Marissa Skwierczynski

Marissa Skwierczynski has been in the hearing health care field since January 2018 and joined Beltone in July 2019. She earned her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, with a Biomedical emphasis, and Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona. She participated in an undergraduate Speech and Hearing Clinic, where she became interested in helping people with hearing loss reconnect to the world of sound and achieve a greater quality of life.

Marissa’s patients appreciate the personal attention she provides to ensure they are fitted with the best hearing instrument, as well as the care she takes in following up with them. She takes the time to listen to the needs of the patient and explain the hearing technology in a simple way without overwhelming them.

In her downtime, Marissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys outdoor activities, like hiking and skiing, and traveling. Lastly, she likes to volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association.

  • Susan Moore

    Patient Care Coordinator

Susan has been in the hearing care industry since 2006 and with us at Beltone since 2012, having previously attended Onondaga Community College and Powelson Bryant & Stratton. Her care, compassion, and personal attention to every patient's needs helps them navigate their hearing health, from appointments and follow-ups to insurance questions.

Having lived in upstate New York most of her life, she resided in Nevada for 4 years before coming back to the east coast. When not helping the world hear better, Susan greatly enjoys NASCAR and traveling to Las Vegas.
