Sam Buchanan

Hearing Care Practitioner

Sam Buchanan is a Hearing Care Practitioner who joined Beltone at the start of 2022. He was born and raised in Fort Worth and earned both bachelor's and master's degrees with honors from The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While studying, he worked for the University teaching public speaking courses to undergrads. Sam’s research focused on the importance of communication in the modern world, and highlighted the consequences of such breakdowns amongst organizations, marketing efforts, and interpersonal relationships. He now dedicates his time towards strengthening communication with those who are afflicted with hearing loss. Sam is committed to providing exceptional hearing care to the Kansas City metro community and loves helping people discover how the right hearing solutions can change their lives for the better. When Sam isn’t assisting his patients, he can usually be found keeping up with the Dallas Cowboys, playing tennis, spending time on the water or just outdoors in general. Sam is also a huge movie buff and loves to talk classic rock with his patients.

Very happy with my hearing aids. I have reduced the volume since I left the office. They are such an improvement over the one I had, which were also Belton's, but 4-year-old. Thank you it is great to hear this well. All I wish is that the price was a little more manageable on a fixed income.;

I had a very thorough and informative hearing test. Learned a lot and will continue to go back for my next hearing test. Didn't need a hearing aid at this time!;

I was very impressed with the attention and service I received from their hearing care practitioner, Sam Buchanan. He cared about me as a person. I was a little gun shy as I told him I had had hearing aids in the past and had lost two and even with insurance replacement it was not cheap. I told him it would be nice if they had some kind of signal or warning when you lose one! There is something you can put on your phone that tells you the last place you had it. Not only that but he made sure it was a good fit and told me the employees were always there for us. He also spent a long time on adjusting the volume and to me it ended up being just right! It gives you such a feeling of confidence in yourself and them as well. So after years of not hearing I’m going to start all over but with much more confidence thanks to Sam! I was very confident in him and the hearing aides and what he had to say regarding them and was ready to try again!;
