Reviews of Beltone Louisville

The Beltone Louisville, KY Team

  • Austin Black, AuD

    Board Certified in Audiology

Dr. Black has had hearing loss his whole life. He had his first hearing test at age 2 and his first experience with hearing aids came at age 10. He felt that the care he received was not the greatest, so as soon as he found out how to become an Audiologist, he set out to provide better hearing care by becoming an Audiologist himself. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Kentucky and his Masters and Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville. Dr. Black is board-certified by the American Board of Audiology, was nominated and served on the Kentucky licensing board, and is an active member of the Kentucky Academy of Audiology. He is a Louisville native.

He is married and has two kids. He enjoys volunteering in the worship band at his church.

His patients appreciate that he takes the time to sit down and get to know them. They feel that he understands their challenges with hearing loss and that he will do what he can to improve their lifestyle by improving their hearing ability.
