The Beltone Boca Raton, FL Team

  • Susan J. Horne

    Hearing Aid Specialist

Susan Horne is a second-generation Hearing Specialist. Following in her father's footsteps, she has been with Beltone for over 18 years. Susan is Nationally Board Certified with the Hearing Sciences, upholding moral and ethical practices of dispensing hearing technology. She knows that hearing health is not a momentary transaction. Hearing health is a lifetime practice. Families are involved in all aspects of hearing. Counselling and understanding how to utilize a simple or an advanced hearing aid, right down to the basics, are important. Beltone will be right beside you all the way.

Susan has more than one family member that wear hearing technology. She understands the process of denial to acceptance and has the patience to guide all members gently into the successful use of wearing hearing aids. Susan is kind and professional. When you meet her, you know you are going to be heard. She is a good communicator. Her goal is to ensure that your quality of life is improved for years to come. Susan believes in Beltone. She has been asked on several occasions if someone “will be able to play the piano” after the fitting of a set of Beltone hearing aids. She has learned that only if the patient has the training to play the piano prior to the fitting, will the patient be able to play the piano.

In college, through the Arthur Ashe foundation, she was mentioned for mentoring elementary students during her senior year. She has always been a humanitarian. She is involved with dog fostering and rehabilitation. She is involved with the Arts and appreciates the Atlantic Ocean. Though intimidating, she has conquered her fear of deep water by learning to paddleboard. In turn, she will help you learn to adapt to new and exciting sounds in your life.
