Robert Leverett
Hearing Care PractitionerRobert has been with Beltone assisting the hearing impaired since January 1994. He started his apprenticeship at V B Associates main office in Columbus, Georgia and was quickly promoted to the Opelika, Alabama office as Manager. Robert earned his Beltone Master Hearing Aid Specialist certificate in 1995 and his Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences in 1999. He is licensed in both the states of Alabama and Georgia. Over the past 20 plus years, he has helped a wide variety of people with their hearing needs and has acquired a reputation of being knowledgeable, honest, and caring. Robert is empathetic, as he has a hearing impairment himself. Robert is an avid Alabama football fan. He and his wife Gina have been married since 1986. They have lived in the Chattahoochee Valley area all their lives having lived in Columbus, Phenix City, and Seale at one time or another.

Vaughn is a graduate of both the University of Georgia Business School and Auburn University School of Audiology. Having grown up around hearing aids, he is familiar with the hands on approach necessary for proper hearing healthcare. With a Masters Degree in Audiology, he knows the importance of appropriate medical attention when hearing healthcare requires a physician's intervention. A board certified hearing care specialist for over 25 years, Vaughn is an extremely compassionate individual who takes a personal interest in every patient. He tries to learn as much as he can about his patients in order to successfully fit them with the perfect device. His care and attention has earned him various awards. Vaughn is proud to offer flexible appointment scheduling and evening appointments, and has even been known to make house calls.
Vaughn is married to Phyllis K. Bray, who is the Administrative Manager of V B Associates, Inc. They were married in 1983 and have three sons who all attend The University of Georgia.

Patient Care CoordinatorBarbara has been married to Walter Smith since 1966. She was a stay at home Mom for 13 years before coming to work for V B Associates in the Opelika Beltone office during 1990. Barbara is a native of Georgia but has lived in the Opelika-Auburn area since 1971. Barbara enjoys being part of the Beltone team and loves to greet new customers. "Seeing a new patient's face light up when wearing hearing aids for the first time is an experience that never gets old." Barbara is an avid Auburn football fan with a husband and a son who are graduates of Auburn University. Her husband Walter retired from Uniroyal and her son is a police detective in San Antonio, Texas. She also has a daughter who resides in Auburn and works as an administrative assistant with a local law firm.
