Meet Our Staff

Greg Helton

Hearing Aid Specialist

Mr. Helton recently joined Beltone, currently providing service at the Ft. Walton Beach and Destin offices. Beltone’s quality of patient care, level of patient support and outstanding technology attracted him to Beltone. He is a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist in Iowa, pursuing his licensure in Florida.

Mr. Helton has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Business and Speech Communication from Monmouth College.

Mr. Helton became a hearing aid specialist to help those who aren't hearing the voices of loved ones, or those sounds that make life worth living. He finds the sense of hearing to be the most vital to quality of life. He believes sounds, music and voices can trigger emotions faster than any of the other senses. He loves hearing the excitement in his patients’ voices when told, "I heard that!"

Mr. Helton is father to three adult children, two of whom presently wear hearing aids, and also fortunate enough to have a granddaughter.

Mr. Helton enjoys nearly all types of outdoor activities, especially participating in team sports like hockey and softball. He has a strong passion for music of all types. He enjoys performing as a solo act and has fronted bands from hard rock to country.

Mr. Helton connects with his patients because he has seen firsthand how a hearing loss can affect the development of a child. He has also witnessed family members struggling with communication.
